Hey everyone,
Here is some sample data of what I am trying to create..
Let's say I have the field "Work Orders".. using the column "PrimaryIncidentType" (Workorder[PrimaryIncidentTypeName] is the exact field name)
inside this field can contain
AT - PM
AT - DM
AT - EM
CT - PM
CT - DM
CT - DM
DC - PM
DC - DM
DC - EM (this goes on like 3 more times)
Is there a way to get just the PM in a row named PM and contains all of the data just for the PMs? Same with others, here is my goal below
Jan Feb March etc etc Dec
PM $20 $10 etc etc
DM
EM
Thanks!

Hi, @thomas_coltrain
You can try to add another calculated column to category these data rows ,then apply this field to a matrix row.
Calculated column =
SWITCH (
TRUE (),
CONTAINSSTRING ( Workorder[PrimaryIncidentTypeName], "PM" ), "PM",
CONTAINSSTRING ( Workorder[PrimaryIncidentTypeName], "DM" ), "DM",
CONTAINSSTRING ( Workorder[PrimaryIncidentTypeName], "EM" ), "EM"
)

Can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not enough information to go on;
please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
4. Relation between your tables
Appreciate your Kudos!!
