Combining displaying data from the desktop to the service.

Hi all,

I've got another question/problem i'm running into while combining data from a DQ live Pbi dataset with local imported data.

On one hand I have a SQL dataset that is imported, on the other a Live PBi dataset that i'm DQ'ing.

When I combine some information into a calculated column it works fine in the Desktop. When I push the report to the service I'm getting errors saying the report can be displayed. 😐

In the desktop:

In the service:

Anyone have any experince with this?

And is it just me, or are more people running into problems reusing live datasets that are published in the service ?

Thanks for any and all help.

Figured out what was causing the issue.... the LIVE dataset was published in workspace X (app workspace), and the report using it was publish in "my Workspace" (which probably isn't an App workspace, it's older).

so connecting to the live dataset and publishing the final report in the same workspace did the trick 😊
