Hey everyone 🙂
I built up a "KPI" visual as well as a "Enlighten Data Story" visual:
Is there a opportunity to create combine/group/merge them so that I got ONE Visual?
(e.g.: Like grouping forms in Power Point)
Thanks!!!
Best regards Simon
Hey,
currently there is no possibility to define groupings of visuals im Power BI.
Whenever I face a similar challenge I stack them up as you did, and change the order of the viusals to a sequence that is best for the requirements.
From my perspective there is just one real issue with stacking visuals: The Focus Mode enlarges just the top most visual from the stack.
Sometimes it becomes somewhat cumbersome to change the report, but using the "Selection Pane" is very helpful

Hey Tom,
Thanks for your fast and helpful response.
My main issue regarding the stacking is that I can't pin them together to a dashboard.
But it is how it is 🙂
Thanks again Tom.
Best regards,
Simon
Hi @SimonAbs,
What do you mean "can't pin them together to a dashboard"? What is the result you have got? And what is your wanted output?
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
If I built a visual in a report I can easily pin it to a dashboard in Power BI "Online" with this sign:
Upper right side "Pin visual"
I "designed" my own visual by overlapping different visual so that I can display what I want.
My issue: I cant group this visual so that I can pin them together to the dashboard. The pinning only works for a single visual.
--> I can't use my "designed" visual as a dashboard.
Do you have an advice for this issue?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Simon
