Hi all,
I have 2 data tables - one for store information and another for product info. In short, I need to create a new table that splits out each store showing every product. I need this in order to be able to calculate product availability based on what should be in store. Furthermore, over time new stores will be added to my store table, so I'd like the output to self-update within power BI.
So for example, my store table contains 100 different stores and my product info table has 50 products, therefore I would expect to see an end result of a new table that contains 5,000 rows of data, with 50 rows per store showing each unique product.
Does anyone have any ideas? For info, there is no relationship between the two tables as they are completely different!
Regards,
Rick

You're looking to do the cartesian product of two tables.
You can use cross join in power query and you'll get your expected result.

Amazing, thank you!
