So I have a clustered column chart by quarter and fiscal year. I wanted to color the columns based on their fiscal year. When I go the the Columns dropdown it shows selections like this:
When I assign a color it says it assigned it to each chosen fiscal year (so all of the 2021's, or all of the 2022's). But it only colors the first ones like this:
If I try to add Fiscal Year to legend it messes the graph up like this:
Any help is greatly appriciated.

@ACraig08 , Only when use one measure and no legend, You can color based on condition like
If(Max(Table[Year]) = Year(Today()) , "Green", "Blue")
You can use the measure in conditional formatting using Field value option
