Changing String text (Nvarchar) to number in a new columm, doesnt show the right value.

eed to convert a number which is a text format from SAP Hana to number based on Direct Query report.

I tried to add now column like this

Size = VALUE ('Data'[size].   Example:  Instead of showing 100 as text it shows i think Pbi sums of all 100 it founds.

it doesnt work as it is part of a direct query. Need to create a new column

@Sergi , Try to change that in column tools.

Click on column, You should see an option for column tools on tabs. Click on that and change data type to whole number and try
