Change data source from Mongo DB to Azure Sql DB

Hi,

I have built some of the reports with pointing to Mongo DB. Now I want to change the source to Azure Sql DB, so that I do not need to build the reports again ?

When I try to change the data source in below manner, it does not show an option to replace Mongo DB with Azure.  Is there a way to do this ? so that I can retain everything and just change the data source ?

@Kaviprakash you can easily achieve this by changing source in advance query editor. So create a sample table using new sql server, go to edit query, and choose advanced editor on new sql server table. Copy source and navigation line from this table and copy to other tables in your model.

Thanks for the solution. It worked.

I have a question. Typically If I want to change data source and publish to respective workspace considering both DB's are Azure SQL DB's, Would just changing the source work ? I mean there is no need of doing the datamodelling, derived columns, measures again after changing the data source. Is this correct ?
