Hi,
I have a customer request to change the background color for the row headers in the matrix - each line should have a different background color.
For example:
Location 1 - Red color
Location 2 - Blue color
Location 3 - Green color
I searched a lot and found only 1 post with a solution that I can't understand (https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Row-header-in-different-color/m-p/863592#M414350). Could anyone help me with this matter, please?
Thanks in advance
This is not supported in matrix to set color rules in for columns in the Rows section, you can only use the Table visual instead of Matrix. I am also interested how did the solution in that post achieved this.

@mdor , You have an option like row header in the matrix to change color. Conditional formatting do not work on row or column (Pivot column) in Matrix.
You can color any column in table
I believe we're trying to find out how/if we can apply a background color to any row in a table (not matrix) visual in PBI. Not necessarily just the header row. It may sound counter intuitive, however different people want extreme control over visuals as we have in Excel, PowerPoint, etc. PBI is not that forthcoming.
