Hi everyone,
I have an issue with the new card using a text measure. It still does not wrap the text and there is no way to make it work. It work with some particular combination of:
Font 12, Visual Dimension 468 x 795: the text is not wrapped
Font 20, Visual Dimension 468 x 795: the text is wrapped
Font 20, Visual Dimension 468 x 795 but different string: not wrapped
Font 12, Visual Dimension 468 x 795 same string as above: not wrapped
Is there a way to make it work? I need to use the card as a tooltip and need the font to be on the smaller side. These cards would be so very useful if they worked as promised with the text with formatting.
Many thanks,
R

Hi @RoSch
As @Kishore_KVN mentioned, you can use UNICHAR(10), and after testing, the problem you have mentioned is related to the new card visual design, perhaps you can consider an alternative.
You can craete a measure with UNICHAR(10) , then put the measure to a table visual.
e.g
Measure = "A for test"&UNICHAR(10)&"B for test"&UNICHAR(10)&"C for test"
Output
It will always wrap and will not affected by the text size and visual size.

Hello @RoSch , if you want to split words as per your interest please place UNICHAR(10) in between which will help you for the line break.

Hi @Kishore_KVN ,
The measure contains the breaks (as you can clearly see in the third screen shot) and it works fine with a normal card visual. However, in the normal card visual you cannot align the text to the left, which is what I would need, in addition to showing the full text.
Cheers,
R
