Cannot open Power BI Desktop (November 2021 release, 64bit)

Hello,

I started getting issues with opening Power BI Desktop after installing November update. Just after the update it was working fine, but when I tried on the other day I couldn't open any pbix or the app. I don't get any error, nothing happens.

I tried to reinstall several times with no success. Then installing 32 bit version and 64bit after that helped for one day (I always use x64). Next day the issue appeared again and I installed October version and that helped. 

I downloaded Nov version from here:

Do you have any advise on how to solve it so that I could use November version?

Hi @joannab ,

I've made a test but couldn't reproduce your issue, the pbix file can be opened on my side.

Is there any error message?If you update or downgrade, will similar issues occur in a few days?

unfortunatelly, installing the other version didn't help. I already tried to update (Dec 2021) or downgrade (Oct 2021) or even installing x32 instead of x64 - everything helps for one day, and the next time when I try to open, nothing happens. There is no error message. Just for 2-3 seconds it looks like it's loading (only looking at the mouse cursor, but Power BI window doesn't appear), and then nothing happens. I don't see any process in the task manager. 

So it looks like it's not the issue with a particular version, but something on my side. Does anyone have an idea what else I could check?

@joannab . There were a few issues on Nov -2021 logged here https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

But now Dec-2021 should be available, Try to use that
