Can we create Measures on Direct Query? Is there any Limitation to create Measures for Direct Query?

Can anyone help me with understanding whether it is possible to create Measures for Direct Query data sources? Do you have any supporting document for this? Is there any limitation for measures in DQ?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance.

Hey @Adithya_S ,

the answer is simple, measures can be created on top of DQ models.
Nevertheless, there are some limitations in regards to DAX, the best way to start is this document: DirectQuery model guidance in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hopefully, this gets you started.

Regards,

Tom
