Hi all,
I am writing to you to get some support on how to calculate in powerBI the YTD or Quarter for average prorated widget. I have been searching on the blog but was not able to find this particular one.
Currently in a regular exceel am using the below sumproduct formula to do an average Pro-rated. I would like to know how to do that in powerBI.
I tired SUMX in power BI and am not getting the result am looking for. Also, I have a calendar built in my powerpivot for this purpose so i just need a good formula to use it
Days | 30 | 31 | 31 | 28 | 31 | 30 | 31 | 30 | 31 | 31 | 30 | 31 | 92 |
Year | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 | 365 |
November | December | January | February | March | April | May | June | July | August | September | October | Quarter 1
798,530 | 803,949 | 780,392 | 823,604 | 836,226 | 849,083 | 852,619 | 865,075 | 860,555 | 857,257 | 858,095 | 861,734 | 794,244
Formula used in regular exceel:
*SUMPRODUCT=SUMPRODUCT(B$7$7,B1010)/SUM(B$7$7) |
Appreciate you help with this,
Thanks,
Hicham
I don't quite get what is average Pro-rated, could you please share the excel?
By the way, as Power BI and Excel are different product, you would probablly not to get the equivalent thing in Power BI.
