Calculate and track sum of a column on 1st of every month

I have a table 'Risk_Score' that tracks risk number for each row entry. This table has a measure 'Total Risk' that sums up the risk score. Now, I need a way to refresh the sum on 1st of every month and also be able to store this number somewhere and track it historically. Please help!

This table is getting data as oData feed from external source. Applications are added/removed from this table on regular basis which changes the total landscape risk with them.

I need to figure out a way to auto-update the the desired output with the current Total Risk score on first of every month.

Desired Output:

It would help if you can provide snippet of 'Risk_Score', as well as the expected result for that.

Is that possible, please?

Hi rbiga,

Just updated my original post with table snippet and desired output.

In that case, you have 2 options (that I know of):

  1. Use Power Automate to update a table in Excel which will keep past records; or
  2. Ask your DBA to create monthly data snapshots, so it won't be lost.

I suggest that you give PowerAutomate a shot.
