Hi all,
Challenge: Currently have three matrix visuals on a dashboard each displaying data from different tables. To edit the data, i need to do: (i) Click "Edit Queries" --> (ii) Select relevant table from "Queries" --> (iii) Double-click conditional column previously added in "Applied Step". Would like to place a button next to each matrix visual and upon clicking, opens up the conditional column view in (iii), allowing for data editing.
Am thinking upon the lines of how a macro is created by recording steps and assigned to a button in Excel. Is this doable in Power BI? If doable, would the buttons work when publised to Power BI Service?

No, you can’t do it. There is no vba in power BI. Power BI is not really designe to “create” data, it is to report on data. Proabaly the easiest Way to add data is to do it in an excel sheet and import from there.
