BI Desktop 2024 Slicer settings

Hi all,

I am using the following version of BI:

I am trying to have a slicer as a drop down option, however in the slicer setting i do not have a option for drop down - the closest that shows is under layout where i can choose a single column, but not a drop down that was previously availabe:

Any idea on how i can create a slicer as a drop down?

Hi @arumel ,

Use the old slicer. The new one doesn't have an option to be a dropdown.

Hi @arumel , can you tell which slicer you have plotted ? simple or advance slicer... n column details you plotted??

I changed from slicer new to slicer old and its there now ..
