Hello PBI'ers!,
I put my csv data files in sharepoint and these files are exports from mailing systems (MailPlus, MailChimp)
Is there a way to automatically download these exports and put them in sharepoint every "period". (ex. Daily at 01:00 AM)
So I can just click refresh in PowerBI and get the up-to-date data?
Thanks already!
MrNelsch
Hi. As a workaround, you can directly export your Mailchimp data to Power BI instead of using sharepoint, I think that would save you a lot of time and would automatize your report. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Mailchimp connector in the data sources list:
After that, you will have to first create a secret API key in your Mailchimp account and then using your credentials add your account to the platform.
Once you’ve done this, you can proceed and go to the “Preview and destination” step
There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
Hi,
You can fully automate the report export to SharePoint with PowerBI Robots. You can try it for free and get it for 30% off until November 10th using a discount code.
Hi MrNelsch,
I would suggest you go to Microsoft-Flow-Community/ct-p/FlowCommunity for professional help. I think the Microsoft Flow could be helpful.
