Hello,
I have a Slicer that uses YearTerm Integers to filter the page. Please see the below image for how the data is formatted. My boss is under the assumption that the slicer will automatically update when saved on the maximum value. So for example, I save the dashboard with 20231 selected. When 20232 is added to the slicer via a refresh, he says it should update to that value. I've told him that is it not possible unless we use a text value like "Current Term" or "Max Term". From my understanding, the dashboard will stay selected on 20231, regardless if a larger integer is added.
Could someone tell me I am wrong or point me to some docs that prove I am correct? It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for sharing but this is not helpful towards my question. It pretty much just confirms what I am saying that you need to use a text value.
