Are there any visualizations that do calculations of fields?

Hi are there any visualizations that can calculate field values?  Instead of adding a calculating field in the table, I was wondering if there is a visualization that calculates it?  Thanks

no, you have to code it as a new column or measure

@wpf_ , Not very clear. Power BI does not have a concept of visual level calculation other than aggregation on a column.

@wpf_

could you provide an example?

the best practice is to calculate in DAX

also there are a built-in aggregation calculations and some math calculations in chart visual

Hi @az38 , @amitchandak ,

Thanks for your quick reply.  For example say my table is such:

Date, Location, CountA, CountB

With the visualizations I can easily see the different counts per date, per location.  But I want the total counts of A & B.  So is there a visualization that acts as a calculated column so I can sum countA & B?  Or would I have to add this calculated column in Data modeling? Thanks.
