In order to see the number of rows as result:

  • Apply your transformation (Append),
  • exit from Query Editor
  • Go in Data
  • Select your table
  • and get the number of rows from the botton left

when you select a query in the query editor at the bottom right it shows the number of rows at the bottom right.

If you just want to see a number of rows you can select a column then go to the transofrm tab then statistics and count rows. This will show the row count for that column.

If you want to see all the records you have to just load the data into the model as the query editor will always work with a subset of the data if it is over the row limit of 999 rows for most sources.
