Adhoc Analysis with Analysis Services

Hi Community,

we are currently working to set up a retail data model with Analysis Services to provide self service analytics to the end-user.

I was wondering about the following - in all the cases in which end-user did vlookup to enrich existing data. How can this be achieved in Power BI in combination with analysis services? I understood when you use a live connection you cannot add any data. How do you recommend to work around?

To modify the model in power bi, you need to connect to SSAS with import mode instead.
