Hi all,
I'm trying to create a matrix in which the user can see a measure per month for a running year with a total column, combined with a column that shows the year to date total. Something like this:
I have created the measure for running year, which works as intended. And I can create a measure for the YTD calculation but when I add that to the matrix it get sliced automatically which I don't want. Hiding extra columns is not really an option since the user will export the matrix to excel and doesn't want to have any extra columns show up there.
Is there a way to tell the matrix it should slice one measure but not the other?
Any suggestions and / or other solutions are appreciated.
You can try this measure:
Total YTD = IF(ISINSCOPE(Table[YearMonth]), BLANK(), [Total YTD])
The columns will still be there (though you can reduce their width) but there will be no values displayed

It's a nice trick but won't the columns also show up in the export?
