Adding 'Data Bars' to Matrix measures slows down martrix

Dear All,

I am using a matrix in my PBI desktop that has many measures, and it has been working perfectly well.

However, I have now realised that the matrix performance (as tested in Performance Analyzer) is significantly slowed down, when I add 'Data bars' to even one of the calculated measures. After adding the data bar to even one measure under 'Cell elements' (see below), makes it almost impossible to drill down to the next hierarchy level. I mean when I click on the '+' button to go to next hierarchy level, the data is now loading for 13 seconds, instead of 1 second max before adding the data bar.

Has anyone had the similar experience and can share any insights?

Thank you in advance!

@Giorgi1989 , Can you share your measure formula, in case they are complex? I doubt alone databar can do that

Thank you for the reply. Yes, it does not make sense that the 'Data bars' alone would cause such a drastic decline in speed. But, the fact is that once I remove the databars, the matrix starts working great again 😞 Anyhow, back to your quesiton. This is the measure I used that data bar function on:

AvB kg = sum('Sales Report'[Act kg])-sum('Sales Report'[Bud kg])
