Hi @ericOnline,

I'm a little confused about your scenario, what's mean of add events?

If it is convenient, could you describe your requirement in more details.

I would appreciate it if you could share your sample data and your desired output so that we could help further on it.

Best  Regards,

Cherry

Hi @v-piga-msft,

I think @ericOnline is talking about adding reference lines to graphs.

These lines can be vertical or horizontal depending on the the type of graph.

They are quite useful features especially on trend lines where you can easily spot if a specific 'event' has an impact to the metric you are monitoring.

Here is an example

@ericOnline

This image will point you to the location where you can add a reference line to a chart

Thank you for the idea. Do you know how to add a VERTICAL LINE with unique info? Ideally I'd like to have a table of "events" and be able to plot them on the data as a vertical line with a little "flag" describing the event.

Ideas?

Hi @ericOnline,

The workaround from themistoklis may help you.

Have you solved your problem?

If you have solved, please always accept the replies making sense as solution to your question so that people who may have the same question can get the solution directly.

Hello @ericOnline

It seems that PowerBI automatically detects where to put the reference line (X or Y axis).

There is a workaround which is described here

This is also an idea which you can vote here
