API Version 2.1.0 is Invalid

Hello!

I developed a report in Power BI on my server. Worked in Power BI Desktop Report Server (Aug 2018). Then I needed to transfer the report to the customer’s server and deploy the report to the report server. I installed the Power BI Desktop Report Server (Aug 2018) and ReportServer and tried to open my report. As a result, when loading the report, I immediately got an error: "The API Version 2.1.0 is Invalid" and some visualizations were not displayed. I did not develop my visualizations, I just used it from the gallery. Now I can not deploy report on the server at the customer. How can I solve this problem?

Hi @Anonymous

If your have access to the customer's Power BI Report server, you could save your report to web portal.

refernce:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/quickstart-create-powerbi-report#step-4-save-your-report-to-the-report-server

if you have no access, you need share the pbix with your customer, then the customer publish the pbix to Power BI Report server web portal.

In this scenario, the customer needs to have access to the data source.

Best Regards

 Hi @v-juanli-msft

I do not work with the web portal. I am working with a local report server. The essence of my problem is that when opening a report file (pbix) an error occurs. What could be the causes of such an error?
