4 plots different data source

Hi all,

I am creating a dashboard and the 4 plots have their own data source. I want the user to select a week and one category so that all the plots get filtered.

Should I create a data model to link these different data sources or just setup a general filter that controls all the plots.

Thanks

Hello @PetrosKoul! You should create a data model in your .pbix file that includes both tables from different data sources and both tables with the fields you want to filter by related to each.

ix:

CalendarTable --> DataSource1
CalendarTable --> DataSource2

CategoryTable --> Datasource1
CategoryTable --> Datasource2

and create the filter user the "week" field created for your CalendarTable and the "Category" field created for your CategoryTable

I hope this helps! have a nice day!
