2nd chart to be filtered based on the filters in the first chart - model relationship does not work

Hi! 

I have 2 charts. 

When I filter for Category A in Chart 1, I would like the fruits from Chart 1 (eg Filter A = apple, banana) to be used as the filter for Chart 2y. I have linked Fruit from Chart 1 and Chart 2 to a common Fruit table in the relationship model, I noticed Chart 2 does not refresh regardless of the category i choose in Chart 1. Can you help?

I created a sample pbix file(see attachment), please check whether it has similar model info as yours. It can works OK. If your report file is not same with mine, you can share a simplified pbix file with me with raw data and the relationship info(cardinality, direction and base field etc.) between tables in order to make troubleshooting and provide you a suitable solution? By the way, are the filters you mention applied on Filters panel , the slicer or other method? Thank you.
