calculate the distinct count of items against each month

Hi community,

I need to calculate the frequency of items i,e, distinct count of item sold in each month.

The description is as below:

What could be the DAX to calculate the frequency in that case. Any suggestions would be helpful.

The sample data is the same as I provided in the image. The data is for the items sold in each month and if it is sold whatever the quantity is it will mark as 1 and the sum of all the months will be the final value (frequency).
