Hi,
I am a DAX novice, so apologise in advance.
I am trying to show the top 2 values by brand of calculated percentages. When I use the visual TopN filter in Power BI it changes the values of the percentages:
Measure A:
Brand | L3M SOB |
A | 52% |
B | 21% |
C | 19% |
D | 11% |
E | 10% |
Becomes:
Brand | L3M SOB |
A | 62% |
B | 25% |
Measure B:
Brand | L3M |
A | 58% |
B | 39% |
C | 31% |
D | 22% |
E | 20% |
Becomes:
Brand | L3M |
A | Infinity |
B | Infinity |
I want to show the original percentages.
The original measures used in the calculation are calculated using SUMX and SUMMARIZE so not sure how to get a ranking another way.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
@bsqrdwg Right, so you are likely going to have to introduce an ALL or ALLEXCEPT or KEEPFILTERS/REMOVEFILTERS into your measure equation to remove the TOPN context when calculating the measures. Hard to be certain with the information provided.
Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
