Hi,
I need help on a small requirement. I am relatively new to Power BI and need some help in DAX.
I have a table with Country & City column. Both are added in slicers
I need to calculate the total sales of the country based on the city selection. For ex: Even if London is selected, I need to calculate total sales of entire UK (London + Manchester + Birmingham).
Can someone please help on that. Thanks in advance.
Regards

Try
Sales in country =
VAR Countries =
VALUES ( 'Table'[Country] )
VAR SalesInCountries =
CALCULATE ( SUM ( 'Table'[Sales] ), REMOVEFILTERS ( 'Table'[City] ), Countries )
RETURN
SalesInCountries
Try
Sales in country =
VAR Countries =
VALUES ( 'Table'[Country] )
VAR SalesInCountries =
CALCULATE ( SUM ( 'Table'[Sales] ), REMOVEFILTERS ( 'Table'[City] ), Countries )
RETURN
SalesInCountries
Thanks a ton. It works now. I missed that remove filter and while I applied your solution, it worked well.
