1. 'Table'[Total Amount] <----- Column from the model
2. Measure = SUM('Table'[Amount])
I have a column coming from the model (1) and then created a measure that takes the sum of the column (2), So when creating another Measure to apply a filter would there be a difference in performance between the 2 Measures Below?
Measure 1 = Calculate( [Measure], 'Table'[Date] = "04-12-2020" )
Measure 2 = Calculate( SUM('Table'[Total Amount]), 'Table'[Date] = "04-12-2020" )
Same Result from both measure just wondering if one is faster than the other or the same in performance?

no difference.
actually
Measure 1 = Calculate( [Measure], 'Table'[Date] = "04-12-2020" )
is this:
Measure 1 = Calculate( Calculate( SUM('Table'[Total Amount])), 'Table'[Date] = "04-12-2020" )
the two Calculates will be coumted as one
