Hello,
I've got a massive table I've cleaned using Power BI. The scenario looks something like this:
Column A | Column B | Column C |
1234 | Red | Master |
1234 | Red | Draft |
1235 | Blue | Master |
1236 | Green | Master |
1236 | Green | Draft |
Expected: | ||
Column A | Column B | Column C |
1234 | Red | Master,Draft |
1235 | Blue | Master |
1236 | Green | Master,Draft |
I know how to achieve this in Power BI using the group by + text combine function but takes ages due to the size of the table I've load into the data model (25M rows)
I was thinking to access the table via DAX Studio and do the grouping/concatenation in there. Is it possible? What would be the script for it?
Many thanks,
Jq

Try following
EVALUATE
SUMMARIZECOLUMNS (
Table1[Column A],
Table1[Column B],
"Column C", CONCATENATEX ( VALUES ( Table1[Column C] ), Table1[Column C], "," )
)
Try following
EVALUATE
SUMMARIZECOLUMNS (
Table1[Column A],
Table1[Column B],
"Column C", CONCATENATEX ( VALUES ( Table1[Column C] ), Table1[Column C], "," )
)
Hi Zubiar,
Top notch. It worked!
Thank you!
