Good morning,
I created a report with power bi desktop, now I would like to do two things:
1 - I would like to publish the report in the service and I would like to be asked for the parameter inserted in the report upon opening
2 - I would like to publish the report on another company account
How can I do these two things?
Thank you
@Anonymous,
On services you cannot get an option to give parameter upon opening the report. You have to do it in the settings of that Report in services.
Instead parameter try to give filters, slicers or RLS if it is for filtering the data.
Share the PBIX file with the other company report owner to publish.

hi @Anonymous
1. Why do you want to be asked for the parameter inserted in the report upon opening?
if you want to filter data in report, you just use a slicer or filter to filter data.
or RLS is another good way for it.

2. you could publish it to another company account by share the pbix file with them, or just share the report with company account as below:

Thanks for your answer @v-lili6-msft and @manikumar34 ,
how can I create a report in the service that asks me for the parameters when opening?
Why does it make me put the parameters in the pbix if I can't use them later?
All the reporting software that I have used up to now work in this way, What can I do with Power Bi?
Thanks again
hi @Anonymous
In power bi, query parameter may meet your requirement, but it needs the user who has the edit access to go dataset setting to change the parameter and then refresh the dataset, now report will update.
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/deep-dive-into-query-parameters-and-power-bi-templates/
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-parameters
but if you want to change the parameter when opening the report, it couldn't achieve in power bi for now.
as workaround, you may need to load all the data into power bi and then use power bi bookmark or RLS to get it.

@Anonymous can you specify why you wanted parameters? is that to restrict the data to user level? If yes then you can make use of RLS in that case
I use direct query in my report
