I have a connection to azure sql database. When I make refresh on my desktop it makes refresh in 10-15 minutes. The same refresh on the service takes 1-1,5h.
Azure SQL reports the high consumption of IO during the refresh.
I have an incremental refresh enabled - the issue is mainly about the first refresh after republishing the report.
The dataset size is 878 MB. Can you help me fixing this?
Hi there. If this is taking long time I would recommend analyze the model to downsize it. You can check this tips from this blog or any other with downsizing techniques:

In addition you can check the following video from guy in a cube that shows how to prevent a full complete refresh with incremental refresh to control the partitions. It's awesome.
