I have an interesting situation--I have published a number of visuals on one domain (say @company1). I published them to a workspace. They work smoothly and well.
I shared the PBIX with a colleague in a sister company, on a different domain (say @company2). He published them to a workspace. They occassionally do not work smoothly and well, and when the visuals begin to act up for users on domain 2, they in turn act up for users on domain 1.
The error message is "could not load data for the visual."
We are using direct query on an Azure SQL databse across a number of tables. There are some complicated relationships and calculations being done on the Power BI side.
Both domains use the same database login credentials.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
HI @PatrickNord,
I think this issue may related you network settings.(azure sql rules, firewall settings, block list...) You can test on domain 2 device to confirm if they can access to azure sql datasource.

Hi @v-shex-msft!
Thank you for the thoughts--it looks like that isn't it. As a point of clarification, if only someone on domain 2 accesses the visuals, it works fine, no issues. The problem comes in when we are hitting them at the same time (a user from domain 1 and a user from domain 2).
Patrick
HI @PatrickNord,
I also not sure why it caused, maybe you can try to use fiddler to trace operations(contents) and submit a support ticket for further support.
