Hello,
I'm having an issue trying to register our gateway (personal mode). I put in my email address and it takes about five minutes for the password window to pop up. When it does it comes back with:
"Failed to update gateway details. You may need to change the account the gateway runs under. This request operation sent to net.tcp://127.0.0.1:45376/powerbi/personalgatewayconfig/service did not receive a reply within the configured timeout (00:01:00)."
We don't use a proxy so I don't think that's the issue. I'm not sure what the issue is here.

Has your admin blocked personal gateways or not added you to the group that is allowed to register gateways?
