Hi
I have a Overview matrix visual in my report .I am using 20 coulumsn with drill down
Drill down is like
Country-Region-Terr-Segment-Channel-SalesRep-Fullname-Address-City-ZipCode-Actual -Target
Country info comes from Bridge table (powerbi security table )
SalesRep-Fullname-Address-City-ZipCode comes from dimension table which consits of 3 million rows
Actual and Target from fact table
I tried to reduce as many as columns in my dimension and fact in my model
It is direct query mode and use views for the fact .Source is SQL SERVER
When i place the matrix drill down it started displaying visual exceeded available resources and it gets hanged
I have few more columns to bring in .
When i ran the Perf analyser it says 47 sec it took to complete the visual .
Hi @Anonymous ,
The issue occurs when a visual has attempted to query too much data with the available resources. As a workaround, you could consider insert a slicer to dynamically filter matrix columns. For example, you could try to filter only one country and see if you can drill down to the last level.
