User input to filter for website to get model response

Hi, I want to allow website visitors to query a simple list of "Service ID#" to find a simple index score I've calculated. The only way I have seen to do this so far is with a slicer like this:slicer.PNG

The trouble is there are over 10,000 ID#s (and growing) - is there no way to input a 15 digit numeric serial number into a search field, as you can on the desktop?

Many thanks for looking...

Hi @InSadly

What you could do, is in the new Filter Pane you could put in your column "id"

As I have shown below, when you put it into the Filter Pane and a user uses it, you can then see that users can input any part of the 15 digit string and it will then display the results.

Well, it did work perfectly, and then I publish publicly so anyone hitting my website can see it (without a Power BI login) and the filter pane just disappears... is this to be expected or am I publishing it wrongly?

Hi there

Thanks for the kind words.

When publishing to web, that is one of the limitations.
