Hi All
When you are in PBI Service and updating an app, there is capability to enable the 'New Navigation Builder'.
This is a nice feature and allows you to organize reports/dashboards etc. with collapsible folder like hierarchy on the left hand side of screen. I see that you can create a section and links then add your reports/dashboards.
My question is relating to that Section that appears to create the collapsible portion - can I add that section to a report itself?
For example I have a report in a PBIX file with 10 pages - I want 4 of those pages in it's own collapsible section and the other 6 in it's own collapsible section. Or do I need to go back and break the PBIX file into 2 files, with 4 and 6 pages in each file in which will then act like sections in the Navigation Builder? Some of the datasets overlap thus didn't want to go into a rebuild if I need to. Am I thinking about the navigation builder as it can only link a report/dashboard individually and not split 1 report into multiple sections? Any clarity would be great. Thanks
Hi @IncursioML1 ,
You can copy the report in the same workspace. Then this report will connect to the same dataset and you do not have to re-build for each. Delete the unneeded pages and update the app.
