Unable to create new measures in power bi web version.

Hello,

I am working with survey responses and would like to be able to calculate the average # of responses to each of the questions.... Example: How many respondents on average selected agree for question 1? I'm not seeing the option to add a new measure on the web version of power bi.  I'm also only seeing the ability to choose count which isn't what I am looking for.

Does anyone have experience with calculating the average response for survey questions (Strongly agree to Strongly Disagree)? If so, how did you go about making those calculations.  Is it something that needs to be done in a desktop version of power bi?

Thank you!

Hi , @eteynor

According to my research and testing, if you want to create measures in PBI service, you can try Datamart, a preview feature that PBI has released in the past six months, which allows you to connect to data sources, create measures, and apply them to corresponding datasets:

You need to create measures using Power BI Desktop, or Tabular Editor to an XMLA endpoint if you have premium. You cannot do that in the web currently.
