Hi, I am on a trial license with PowerBI admin priveleges why can't I load Purview Hub in Power BI?
The Purview Hub is technically a part of the "Admin monitoring" Workspace.
By default, this workspace is assigned to the "pro" licence capacity. When solely using the Fabric trial you are on a "Pro Fabric Trial Capacity" which is different from being solely "pro", hence the issue.
One also needs to be a Power BI Admin or higher to even see the workspace.
If you are an admin then the fix is easy, one can change the capacity used by the "Admin monitoring" workspace to use the trial capacity thus giving you access.
You should now be able to see the Purview Hub as well as other objects in the Admin monitoring workspace.
Hi @VAG ,
It is possible that your trial license does not include access to Purview Hub. You should check your license agreement to see what features are included. If your license does include access to Purview Hub, you may need to check your Power BI settings to ensure that you have the correct permissions to access it. If you are still having trouble, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
