Hi community,
any help appreciated.
My data look like this
Dec 14 1 Quote by Mr. X
Dec 14 1 Quote by Mr. Y
Dec 14 1 Quote by Mr. z
Jan 15 1 Quote by Mr. X
Jan 15 1 Quote by Mr. Y
Jan 15 1 Quote by Mr. Z
Dec 15 1 Quote by Mr. X
Dec 15 1 Quote by Mr. Y
Dec 15 1 Quote by Mr. Z
I would like to dispaly the data in a bar chart shwing the number of Quotes in Dec 14 (3), then Jan 15 (3), then Dec 15 (3).
No way!
I only get any kind of charts showing:
Dec (6), Jan (3).
No developmnet is shown. Just the monthly aggregation regardless the year. I can campare which month is statisticly the best. But can't obsereve the month by month development from year to year.
Only when my input data looks like this i was able to get the result i wish:
Dec 14 - 3 Quites
Jan 15 - 3 Quotes
Dec 15 - 3 Quotes
Unfortunately that's not the way my CRM outputs the data. It#s always like in the first example.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
Alex
Are you using the Power BI web service or Power BI desktop. I think your data is being translated into for example "Dec 14 into 12/14/2015". If you are or can use Power BI desktop you will need to convert your dates into strings or replace for example 12/14/2015 with 12/01/2014.
