We have a situation in PBI service. We create an app that is live connected to a PBI dataset and RLS implemented. Everything works normally for in-organization users, but when adding External guest users through Azure Active directory, there is a wierd scenario when sharing the app with the URL and the user clicks the link, they immediately get to a screen that says they don't have rights to view the page because of non existant pro account. But when they try to access it from icognito window, they can enter ID/Password with 2FA and everything works normally.
Is it something to do with browser cache? Because we tried on a fresh browser as well. Any leads can be helpful. Thanks!
Hi @balaganeshmohan ,
Please confirm something:
1. The guest user has been added to the RLS role
2. The guest user must have the proper licensing in place to view the content that you shared. There are a few ways to make sure the user has a proper license:
For more details, you can read related document: Distribute content to external guest users with Azure AD B2B - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
