Scheduled refresh of a dataset.

Dear all.

i've problems with the scheduled refresh of a dataset.

The source file are excel filed stored in a folder on Onedrive for business.

Every day 8 new files are recorded in the folder at 5am.

i've scheduld a refresh of the dataset at 7am every day but the refresh is unsuccessfull for the following reason.

If i do the refresh with powerBI Desktop i don't have problem.

The problem is only with the scheduled refresh.

Do you have some solution to solve the problem?

Thanks

Best regards

Yes, i used Sharepoint connector. In the folder there are a lot of different files but the first step is to filter file with the same structure

Ok I see the issue, using Sharepoint Folder connector is useful to directly combine and transform data with same structure. What you did is filtering out some files to combine only files with same structure, isn't it? this could work in Desktop but not in the service. So it is better to put your files with same structure in a folder and connect the folder to Power bi.

Hi @andler67

Are you combining a Folder(Excel files with same structure in it) from OneDrive? if so did you use Sharepoint Folder connector in Power Query?
