Hi All,
I have created two roles in my Power BI Report.
Role No. 1, which is called 'All', has access to see all the tables except one table.
Role No. 2 can only see few tables of the data model.
Now, the issue is that the above two roles work fine for all the users except for the owners of the workspace that the report has been published in. The owners have been added to Role No. 1 and according to that, they should not see one table. But they are seeing the data of that particular table also.
Is there a way to fix this for the workspace owners? Basically, they should see the data of all the tables except one.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
Simran Tuli

@simrantuli - RLS does not apply to workspace owners.
Hi @simrantuli ,
RLS can be applied only when the user has been assigned "Viewer" role in the workspace.

Certainly previous responses are the default way PowerBi works. But if I'm publishing a report as an owner and also I want to be a consumer of that particular report, with the RLS applied to my username, isn't a way to do that?
The only option would be to own the Report from a Separate Account?
Thanks!
