Hey community,

I'm actually trying to load the images from sharepooint list to PBI. I've changed the column type to Image URL in the PBI but the image are breaking even in the service. Can anyone please help me with this?

Take one of the image URLs and try to visit that URL in a browser. Does it work? It might be an issue with the formula you're using to create the link.

Hi  @Preethamgundoji ,

Please make sure that you have changed the data category of the column containing the image URLs to “Image URL”. This tells Power BI to treat the data in the column as image URLs. After making these changes, you need to publish your report to the Power BI service.

Note:

  • The image needs to be in one of these file formats: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, or .svg
  • The URL must be anonymously accessible, not on a site that requires a sign-in, such as SharePoint or OneDrive for work or school.

If the images are stored in a location that requires authentication, they might not display correctly in Power BI.

You may also try do this by creating a custom column in Power Query that combines the server URL and the server relative URL. This will give you the absolute image URL.
