Power BI Gateway Issues

HI Team ,

I am using majorly 2 Data Sources
1. SQL server
2. CRM (Dataverse)
I have a on premise gatway installed for the SQL server DS which is working fine .
But i am getting a connectivity error while connecting to CSD .

This is a critical issue. All the help is appreciated .

What exactly is the issue?  You need to map your SQL server connection. Use the dropdown, then Apply.

@lbendlin
Thanks for the reply ! but as displayed in the images the above , The issue is not the SQL . As Stated the Sql server connection works Fine . The issue is with the CDS connectivity .
When i try to add Dataverse URL by clicking on manually add to Gateway and create new connection it doesnt get attached to the Dataverse Connection

Are you trying to merge these data sources in Power Query?

Yes , In some cases Yes ! @lbendlin

Please don't.  As soon as you merge on-prem and cloud data sources in Power Query bad things will happen

- you need to set your gateway to allow refresh of cloud data sources

- you need to add the cloud data source to the gateway

- you can never go back from that

So please don't.

i am merging two tables ( both of them from datverse )
also i have enabled  refresh of cloud data sources

When i manually try to add the cloud data source to gateway it gets added and appears in the connections but it doesnt get mapped as in it doesnt appear in the box or in  the drop down
