Power BI APP - Can I have a report in multiple navigation sections?

I am currently creating a Power BI APP for 100+ users within our organization and would like to have one section per department, where all the Power BI Reports/dashboards relevant for them will be clustered. However, some of the reports in our Power BI Workspace are "Shared" and I am trying to figure out if I can have the same Power BI Report in multiple Sections of the Power BI APP.

Example: lets say I have "Finance report", "Marketing Report" and "Company Dashboard".  I would like my Navigation section to be:

Marketing

-Company Dashboard

-Marketing Report

Finance

-Company Dashboard

-Marketing

Is this posible? Or is it only possible to have 1 report per section meaning I need to make multiple copies of the reports?

Hi @PhilipL ,

Since your requirements are about Power BI Service, I have moved your thread from Desktop forum to Service forum to help you solve the problem faster.

Then, for your requirements, based on my test, currently you may need to make copies of reports.

I have tested with the feature: new app navigation experiences. The Navigation builder pane lets you do all sorts of customization including reordering the items, hiding items, grouping related items into sections, or even adding links to other content that app users should be able to access.

But when I want to use it to create a duplicate report and open in "Content area", an error occurs.

And after researching, I find that this is not supported in Power BI currently. But it is already on the Ptoduct Team's to-do list. Please be patient and thank you for your support and understanding.

Best Regards,

Icey
