Hi ,
Im using excel as source to create a pbix report which is stored in one drive.
When i publish the report in service , im able to change the default value in service but the data is not filtered as per the new value.
After removing the default value which was Midmarket in service when i tried entering Enterprise and refreshed in service there was no change in report

Hi @Anonymous ,
From your second picture, the "Apply" button is grey, that means this parameter is failed to set and won’t take effect. You may try to change "Suggested Value" using "List of value" option when setting parameter to test if it is due to other issue reasons .

What do you mean change the default value?
Hi @Greg_Deckler ,
While creating parameter in Destop i selected the current value as MidMarket and published the report in service. When i changed the parameter to Enterprise and refreshed the dataset in service ,the data in the visual didnt change to Enterprise . It was showing only MidMarket data

And you are using that Parameter in your Query? Can you paste your code from the Advanced Editor and call out where you have that parameter?
Also if you really think it is an issue with the Service and query parameters, You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.
