New measure in SSAS does appear in pbix but does not appear in service, using live connection

I have added a column and some measures to a SSAS Tabular database.  The PBIX that points to SSAS uses a live connection and it does show the new column and measures and I am able to add them to visualizations.  But when I publish the PBIX to the service, the visuals throw error "Something's wrong with one or more fields" and "Fields that need to be fixed.  Something's wrong with one or more fields..... Please try again later or contact support."

I have tried pointing the PBIX to another database and then back again.  I have tried publishing to a different workspace, which worked the first time but when I tried to publish again and replace that dataset it started erroring out, too.   I have tried stopping and starting Analysis Services. I have tried restarting the enterprise gateway.

How do I get the service to recognize the new column and measures?  I don't understand how this is happening when I can see it correctly in the PBIX.  Does anyone have any ideas?

@KellyPorter ,

I would suggest you to use fiddler to catch the trace in power bi service when this issue occurs. And then contact the support center by creating a support ticket here.
