Monthly publishing possibilities

Dear all,

We have PowerBI reports created through PowerBI desktop based on a cube (Tabular model). The data however is not kept in PowerBI desktop and therefore isn't loaded from here to PowerBI services. Doing so we can't use the possibility to publish the data to PowerBI services from PowerBI desktop. We would need the possibility to publish new data, of the last closing month after an accounting closing is finished and not before. Do you know how to achieve this?

You can connect the datasource through Power BI Desktop, save the PBIX file locally, and transfer it to Power BI Service through the Publish button.

Or connect this datasource directly through Power BI Service.

Finally, configure the refresh data by connecting to the Gateway.
